Why? has an EP out called Sod In The Seed and has an LP called Mumps, ect. coming out in October. This newest dose of the new flavors is “Jonathan’s Hope” and it leans more towards Yoni Wolf spitting over a fucking primo beat, like “The Vowels, Pt. 2″ with less aggressiveness and more disoriented. The beat kind of sums that feeling up pretty great.
Courtesy Spin Magazine:
“… we were going for, like, a jerky walk. It’s supposed to feel like someone limping on a hurt leg, but walking nonetheless — hope! We actually collected a ton of rocks from the woods near the studio and Josiah and Doug [McDiarmid] alternated dropping them on beat. It was pretty fantastic. There is footage. – Yoni Wolf”
Sod In The Seed is out now and Mumps, ect. will arrive on October 2nd, both on Anticon. As a bonus we’ve got a tune we loved from the Sod In The Seed EP.
