Admiral Radley released their debut LP I Heart California in 2010 and are made up of 2 parts Grandaddy (Jason Lyrtle and Aaron Burtch) and 2 parts Earlimart (Aaron Espinoza and Ariana Murray). The album often sounds like exactly what you would expect an album made up of those parts to sound like.
A Snippet Of ”The Story” From The Ship:
“Some of us decided it might be fun to get together and make an Earlimart/Grandaddy album with various members of each band collaborating, constructing songs and recording them in a loose and enjoyable atmosphere. We will call it Earlidaddy or Grandimart! Yaaaaaay! So, recording started and sure enough, it’s loose and enjoyable as expected. Sometimes it’s even hilarious and insane. Anything but dull. ”
4 fans of Grandaddy and/or Earlimart, feel this. We’ve got “Red Curbs” in which Jason Lytle takes the lead.
