Youth Lagoon is Trevor Powers making electronic music about growing up in america. Does that make it Americana? You decide. We’ve got a little snippet from the label followed by a tune called “July” from The Year Of Hibernation, out now.

“Trevor Powers started making music under the moniker Youth Lagoon in 2010. At that time, he was studying English at the local university in Boise and began writing songs as a way to embody the world around him. Those songs are what makes up his debut album, The Year of Hibernation.”
